When a product is produced it consists of many different types of raw materials chosen by the manufacturer. The product is distributed and then used by the consumer. The consumer, generally speaking, uses a packaging item once and thereafter discards it. If the product is discarded of properly it will end up in a recycling plant, whereby the Recycler will breakdown the product and convert it back into either a raw material or repurpose it for a different use. The Manufacturer then purchases the recycled material from the Recycler, and the cycle begins all over again. This is called the Recycling Stream, or The Circular Economy.

By committing ourselves to incorporating recycled material into our packaging, removing non-recyclable layers and urging consumers to recycle the product again, we are able to play a significant role in what’s known as the Circular Economy.
